Invasions

For a photo to be considered an "invasion," it must follow the following general rules:
  • The photo must show an object related to the NHL team in question.
    • Some network sites specify the object to invade with; if not, anything can be used.
    • The object must be reasonably clear and not ambiguous.
  • The photo can be anywhere, but the location must be somewhat notable.
  • The photo must not be unnecessarily obscene; PG-13 limit.
The best places to do an "invasion" would include (not a definitive list):
  • other hockey arenas (NHL, AHL, ECHL, WHL, OHL, etc.)
  • airports
  • city skylines
  • subway and metro systems
  • historic or important train stations
  • significant mountains, lakes, seas, oceans, valleys, etc.
  • host stadiums of the Olympics
  • UNESCO World Heritage Sites or other historic places
  • parts of international borders where security is less of an issue
  • World's Fair sites
  • significant museums
